We were not impressed with this hotel. The staff did an excellent job, the room was on par with a Motel 6. I can assure you we will not be staying at Four Points Shereton any time soon.

We had to stopover for the night on our way back home. The location is convenient to LAX but most of the decent restaurants (not fastfood) are a $* r/t cab ride away. The hotel does offer a free shuttle that runs about every 20 minutes from LAX. The hotel is old as evidenced by the popcorn ceilings, the tiny bathrooms (the door just misses the toilet when you close the door) and the corian counter tops. The carpets (especially in the corridors) ... big stains and smelly. The only thing that was fairly new were the bed linens. For over $* (with no breakfast), you would expect more.... but it's L.A. We stayed in the Hilton on the outbound leg of our trip. The HIlton was SO much better and the rate was the same. Unfortunately, on the way home, the rate for the HIlton had gone up $*!! I think it was because I waited until the last minute to book. The Sheraton was the only hotel available.

Stayed at 4 points. very convenient to rental cars and airport. Would say check in was a bit slow and the breakfast buffett was just OK, but reasonably priced for LA and worked well for us.

I found everything I needed in this hotel. The food was good, the service was great and everything (gift shop for some basic necessities, restaurant & bar, pool, excercise room, laudry room, the internet to print out my boarding pass) was right there! The shuttle came every 15 minutes I never had to wait for anything. However, the computer that was available to print out my boarding pass was extremely slow, but that is all that was a little bit inconvenient the whole time. I enjoyed my stay very much and would do it again. Thank you for a great time under the circumstances (funeral). The staff was very helpful in getting an extra room right across the hall from mine for my niece and daughter so we could be close. Thank you again. ellen s.

if your going for buisness than the location is convient but if you are going to sightsee then i would stay somewhere on sunset or that area. They charge for parking each night that we were there. Also breakfast buffet was pricey as long as the food. It wasnt quiet since we were right by the airport we heard the airplanes at all times.
